Terms of Service

Last updated: 2 September 2026 · Version 1.1

In short. We sell time-limited access to online exam preparation material for the MSRA. We are not affiliated with NHS England, the GMC, NICE or any royal college. Nothing here is medical advice or a substitute for clinical judgement. If you buy the Mentored Intensive, section 6 sets out the 550 Guarantee in full, including exactly what you must do to qualify for a refund.

1. Who we are

MSRA Masterclass ("we", "us") is operated from the United Kingdom. You can reach us at syed@msramasterclass.com.

We are an independent revision provider. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to NHS England, the MSRA, Work Psychology Group, the General Medical Council, NICE, or any royal college or medical school.

2. What we sell

Time-limited access to an online revision platform for the Multi-Specialty Recruitment Assessment. At the date above this includes a question bank, mock papers under timed conditions, a condition library, flashcards, written guides and an AI tutor.

The platform changes. We add and revise material, and occasionally remove it. The counts shown on our website are read from our live database at the moment the page loads, and are accurate at that moment. We do not guarantee that any particular feature or quantity of material will remain available for the whole of your access period, though we will not materially reduce what you have paid for.

3. Your account

Access is tied to a single email address and is for one person. Sharing an account, or sharing your sign-in link, is a breach of these terms and may result in access being withdrawn without refund.

We sign you in by emailing a link. Anyone with access to your email can access your account, so keep it secure.

4. Payment and access

Payments are taken by Stripe. We do not see or store your card details.

All purchases are one-off payments for a fixed access window. Nothing renews automatically and there is no subscription to cancel.

ProductPriceAccess
1 month£491 month from purchase
4 months£744 months from purchase
8 months£1098 months from purchase
Mentored Intensive£5004 months from purchase, with mentorship

Access begins when payment completes. If you buy while an existing window is still running, the new period is added to what remains rather than replacing it.

If you pay before creating an account, your purchase is held against the email address given at checkout and applied the first time you sign in with it. If you use a different address, contact us and we will move it.

5. Cancellation and refunds

Your statutory right to cancel

Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 you normally have 14 days to cancel a distance purchase of digital content and receive a refund.

By starting to use the platform you ask us to begin supplying the content immediately and acknowledge that you lose that 14-day right once supply has begun. You confirm this at checkout. If you have not accessed any content, you may cancel within 14 days for a full refund by emailing us.

Otherwise

Because access is granted immediately and the content can be read, downloaded or memorised, we do not otherwise give refunds for change of mind, for failing to use the material, or because your exam date changed.

This does not affect your rights if the service is faulty, not as described, or not supplied with reasonable care and skill.

The 550 Guarantee in section 6 is offered in addition to your statutory rights and does not limit them.

6. The 550 Guarantee

This section applies only to the Mentored Intensive at £500. It does not apply to the £49, £74 or £109 products.

6.1 The promise

If you sit the MSRA during your access period and your total score is 550 or below, we will refund the £500 in full, provided you meet the conditions in 6.2 and claim as described in 6.3.

"Total score" means the combined score of the Professional Dilemmas and Clinical Problem Solving papers as reported to you by NHS England. Band descriptors are not used.

6.2 What you must do to qualify

All five conditions must be met by the date you sit the exam. The platform counts every one of them and shows your live position on your dashboard throughout, so nothing is decided after the fact.

ConditionRequirementHow it is counted
Question bankAt least 90% of published questions attempted — currently 1,980 of 2,200A question counts once you have answered it in any session
Mock papersAll 10 mocks completedA mock counts only when both its papers, Professional Dilemmas and Clinical Problem Solving, have been finished. A paper is finished if you complete it or if its timer runs out; a paper you leave part-way through does not count
FlashcardsAt least 50% of the deck reviewed — currently 1,051 of 2,101Each card counts once you have graded it at least once
Disease libraryAt least 100 condition pages openedDistinct pages, counted once each
GuidesAll three written guides openedDistinct guides, counted once each

The totals above move as we add material. The percentages are fixed; the absolute numbers are whatever 90% and 50% amount to on the day you sit the exam. Your dashboard always shows the current figures.

Mentorship engagement. You must also attend the weekly accountability check-ins, missing no more than two across the four months. This is the one condition not counted automatically; your mentor records it, and will tell you at the time if you have missed one.

6.3 How to claim

  1. Email syed@msramasterclass.com within 28 days of your results being published.
  2. Attach a legible screenshot or PDF of your official MSRA result showing your total score and the sitting it relates to.
  3. We check your engagement figures against the five conditions.
  4. If they are met, we refund the full £500 to the original payment method within 14 days.

One claim per person, per sitting. The engagement figures we use are the ones that were shown on your own dashboard — there is no separate calculation.

6.4 What is not covered

  • Sittings that took place before your access began or after it ended.
  • Scores above 550, however narrowly.
  • Claims where any of the five conditions was unmet at the time you sat the exam.
  • Claims made more than 28 days after results were published.
  • Accounts found to be shared, or where engagement was generated by automated means rather than genuine study.

6.5 An honest word about the target

550 is a demanding score. On the published NHS England distributions for GP ST1, it is reached by roughly the top fifth of applicants. We offer this guarantee because we believe the work required to satisfy 6.2 is what moves people up the distribution — not because 550 is easy. You should buy this product for the preparation, not for the refund.

7. Mentorship

The Mentored Intensive includes contact with a doctor who has sat the MSRA. That includes daily question sets, weekly accountability check-ins, messaging access during reasonable hours, and membership of a group with other candidates.

Your mentor gives revision guidance and exam strategy. They do not provide clinical supervision, medical advice, careers advice for your specific application, or any form of professional or pastoral care. They are not acting as your doctor, employer, educational supervisor or therapist.

We aim to respond to messages within one working day. We do not offer a 24-hour service. Places are limited and we may decline or end a place where the working relationship is not productive; in that case we refund the unused portion pro rata.

If you are struggling with your health, please speak to your GP, your educational supervisor, or NHS Practitioner Health.

8. Content, accuracy and clinical disclaimer

Our material is written for exam preparation. It is reviewed by a GP, and questions carry the guideline they were written from. Guidance changes, and errors are possible.

Nothing on this platform is medical advice. It is not a clinical decision aid and must not be used to guide the care of any patient. Always work from current guidance, local policy and your own clinical judgement. Where our material and a current guideline disagree, the guideline is right and we would be glad to be told.

We do not guarantee that our content reflects the most recent version of any guideline at the moment you read it, nor that it covers everything that may appear in your exam.

We do not guarantee any exam outcome, except as expressly set out in section 6.

9. The AI tutor

The AI tutor answers using our own explanations and citations for the question you are looking at. It can still be wrong, and it can misread a question.

Treat it as a study aid, not an authority. Do not rely on it for clinical decisions, and do not enter patient-identifiable information into it. Usage is metered and subject to fair per-user limits.

10. Acceptable use

You may not copy, republish, resell, screenshot for distribution, or otherwise share our questions, explanations, guides or library. You may not scrape the platform or use automated tools against it.

You may not reproduce our content in any other revision resource, commercial or free.

We may suspend or end access without refund where we find a material breach.

11. Intellectual property

All questions, explanations, guides, library pages and flashcards are our original work and remain our property. Your purchase buys access, not ownership or a licence to reuse.

Guideline titles and references belong to their publishers. We link to sources; we do not reproduce them.

12. Liability

We do not exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be excluded under UK law.

Subject to that, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

We are not liable for exam outcomes, application outcomes, or any loss of opportunity, earnings or career progression.

13. Changes and termination

We may change these terms. The version that applies to you is the one in force when you bought. If we change the 550 Guarantee, the change applies only to purchases made afterwards.

If we stop operating the platform during your access period, we refund the unused portion pro rata.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you live elsewhere in the UK you may bring proceedings in your own jurisdiction.
